Another Winner!

What a star Croq is turning out to be. I was pulling my hair out as the pace of rain falling in the hour before the race stepped up significantly! We decided to run as I kept telling myself Bath is not watered ground and so wont be that bad!!! Mark followed instructions to the letter. I think he rides very well from the front which is one of the reasons I gave him the ride, but he has also put in alot of work here over the summer so earned a few good rides. Well done to him!

I am not sure what we do with Croq next but I may well go to Pontefract as they don't seem to have had the rain the rest of the country has had.

Men don't Cry yet again ran with much credit. They have chucked a load of sand on at Wolves and it is riding very deep but I am not using that as an excuse. We could step him up in trip again.

Bazooka has shown very little at home but has improved, so on yesterdays evidence he just might be worth persevering with for a little while longer. He was £2,000 purchase so we wont lose too much sleep if he turns out to be completely useless!

Fish is off to Kempton tomorrow. Before his last run I had planned to drop him to six the next time. Immediately after the race on discussion with Liam we toyed with stepping him up but on reflection I think we should stick to the original plan or we will never know. I do have a decent Handicap in mind for him at the end of the month but lets see how we get on tomorrow.
